Did you get to take part in the May Meeting? What an experience!

    What fun we had. If you didn't have the opportunity to participate in the May Virtual Meeting, you missed an experience. On Wednesday, April 29, when the calling committee reported that there would be a very, very small representation at the meeting. There were many reasons, but one of the prevailing reasons was the need to avoid contact with crowds because of the swine flu. The executive committee and some of the committee chairs were contacted, and after several phone calls, it was decided that we would have a virtual meeting. It would be online for participation from Saturday, May 2, through Tuesday, May 5, to allow everyone the opportunity to participate.
      The phone committee was then instructed to call everyone to tell them that the scheduled meeting at Cimarron was cancelled. The membership was told to login to the virtual meeting on Saturday, if possible, and to consider inviting a member who did not have internet access to share the event.
      Word spread as the weekend progressed. Before the meeting concluded 37 members and 9 guests visited the wiki site! It was great!
      If you haven't visited the wiki lately, the meeting has been moved to a folder. The link to the wiki is on the resource page. You can still visit the site and login to make comments. I will leave it up until after Alpha State in June.
